NZ Pug Rescue

Meet The Pugs - Newbies

Starting a fresh new page for 2007.  Here are the recent arrivals.

"Ebony"

Ebony arrived in February 2007. She is 12 1/2 yrs old & like Bruno, only has one eye. Ebony was run over as a puppy and has plates & pins in her pelvis. Given her age and health, Ebony will live out her final years in comfort with the rest of the Gordon Pug clan.

"Elvis"

Elvis arrived a week after Ebony. He is a big, bouncy 2 1/2 yr old lad. Currently under going Puggy weight watchers, Elvis may later be available for adoption to the right home. Elvis is a real character. He's a bit of a handful at times and doesn't like cats, though would love having another dog to play rough & tumble with.

28/07/07 - Elvis has now been placed in a new home.  Many thanks to all who enquired about him.

"Baz"

Aged approx 11 years, came to us (in May 2007) when a change in circumstances meant his devastated owner was unable to continue caring for him.  He is a lovely boy, another real character of a dog.  He enjoys watching sport on TV (especially the All Blacks), and having you give him a good scratch with your foot.

Update:  August 07 - Baz has since gone to live with Pugzi and her Mum.  He is happy, has settled in really well and loves sleeping on a waterbed!

"Samson"

A change in his owners circumstances found Samson having to be rehomed. At age 13 years, he has now found his forever home.

"Jack"

August 2007 - Elvis's Brother Jack was handed in again due to changes in his owners circumstances.  Jack is 3 years old and is still looking for that special forever home.

25 October 2007 - Jack has been placed into a new home with a new Pug sister and it lookes like his placement is going to be permanent.

"ALF"

September 2007 - Alf is also another who was handed in after a change in his owners circumstances.  Alf may already have a new home to go to.

25 October 2007 - Alf  has been placed into a new home.  Many thanks to all who have enquired about him.

"Lilly"

Handed in September 2007.  Aged 6 months.  May already have a home to go to.

25 October 2007 - Lilly has been placed into a new home. Many thanks to all who have enquired about her.

"Fran & Ricci"

Came into rescue in October 2007 after a change in their owners circumstances meant they could no longer continue to care for the girls.  Litter sisters (& sisters to Sam), aged 5 1/2 years.  Currently in foster care with the Gordon Pug clan, they've trimmed up their waistlines and are doing really well.  Lovely, outgoing girls, Ricci & Fran are very close to each other, so are not to be separated and will be placed into a home together.
