IN LOVING MEMORY For other Rescues

We dedicate this page to the Rescues who didn't make it through these channels to their forever homes but did make it through other ways.

"Chi"

12/10/93 - May 2008

At the age of 6 years old, Chi came to Audrey from a family who, for various reasons, needed to find her a new home.  They quickly became constant companions sharing lots of love and cuddles with Audrey having a shadow everywhere she went.  Unfortunately Chi's eyesight started failing her rapidly, and as well as loosing most of her teeth, she also became deaf, but she still remained a true and faithful companion.
Not long ago Chi caused a stir in the small town where she lived when she decided to go "walkabout".  Luckily she was found by a lovely young couple who took her in and cared for her till she was reunited with Audrey.
Eventually becoming incontinent with her advancing old age, she would cause a stir when people saw her wearing nappies and frilly pants.
Chi got to the ripe old age of 14 before she started to loose the use of her legs and at the age of 15 she rapidly got worse where she developed an awful cough and breathing problems.
She was diagnosed with having heart problems and along with her other problems no more could be done so the decision was made to release her spirit and allow her to go peacefully, breaking the heart of her saviour - Audrey.
Chi left a lasting legacy of love for Pugs and lots of memories of the love and friendship between a woman and her dog.
Although missing her mate so much, Audrey hopes to be able to give the same love and care she gave over the years to another Rescue soon.

June 2008 - Audrey does now have a new Rescue Pug in Jessie.
